Meet the Metromix Staff!

Jason was more than happy to abandon his boring job as a technical writer to work for Metromix. (Writing about restaurants and bars beats out writing manuals for business process management software.) He has loved Washington D.C. in a completely consensual way for as long as he can remember, and is excited to share that love with all of you. An avid film and music lover, Jason also writes for movie website JoBlo.com (seriously, not a gay porn site) and has played drums for bands with names like Stinkfat. He also enjoys rice.

Raul is a guy who needs no introduction. He lives by the sword and dies by the McDouble. Known worldwide as Silver Spring's number one son, he can often be found giving back to the community by buying large amounts of McDonald's dollar menu items. He aspires one day to own a duck, a seal, and an elephant. Men want to be him, and so do women. Raul Umanzor is going to shock the world because he is none other than... the ShockMaster.

Ashley learned everything she knows about marketing and event planning while working in print and broadcast media, but her affinity for nightlife and a great cocktail (or two..) makes Metromix her perfect fit. There are few things she loves more than a lively game of Scrabble at a local park or a reality TV marathon (hold the judgment, please).
