Afghan Grill

If you couldn't tell by the name, a taste of Afghanistan comes to Woodley Park with this small restaurant. Afghan Grill sits on the second floor just off a busy intersection and the simple space reflects the simple menu. They serve seven different kinds of meat kabobs (from lamb to shrimp), which is enough to satisfy the most discerning carnivore. There are also several seemingly vegetarian dishes covered in meat sauce here, but all-vegetable items are available, as well as a full bar.  It’s a nice option for cuisine that's still considered exotic in most cities.
