The outside (and inside for that matter) of this excellent Afghan restaurant has no curb appeal. But don’t let that fool you. If you come for the food then you’ll be more than satisfied. Afghan restaurant offers something different for dinner with items like Boolawnee (a flaky, baked pastry filled with potatoes), Bouranee baunnjaun (a layered sautéed eggplant with yogurt) or one of their many vegetarian dishes like kadu (a sweet sautéed pumpkin stew with yogurt and mint.)
