With a palatial dining room that served as Union Station's Presidential Suite until 1988, B Smith's could easily rely solely on its location; however, the menu’s combination of southern soul food and Cajun/Creole makes it as big a draw as the restaurant's historical origins. The chef's signature dish in particular makes a visit worthwhile. The "Swamp Thang" is a mix of seafood presented on a bed of southern-style greens in a mustard sauce.
