Connected to the Clarion Inn, E.J’s Landing still draws locals and students along with guests of the hotel. Although the sign outside advertises seafood, the menu has been toned down to burgers, sandwiches and the occasional shrimp dish. The inside still has a maritime atmosphere with compasses and boat helms hanging on the walls. But instead of the crisp smell of the ocean air, you can smell the chlorinated pool that’s inside the hotel. With daily food and drink specials and live entertainment on the weekend, it’s still a pretty cool place if you’re looking for a simple meal and different bar to park yourself at.
