John Mayer's anthem "Waiting on the World to Change" can be heard throughout the place, but very little else needs to be changed at the Glory Days Grille. The 12-year-old restaurant knocks it out of the park for avid sports fans everyday. The walls are adorned with baseball memorabilia, basketball keepsakes and soccer trophies. Hail to the Redskins! Vintage burgundy and gold jerseys hang under "old skins country signs." The guffaw of the crowd is contagious as dozens of people gather around the bar sipping beer and watching the latest sports news. Don't worry, there's plenty of room in the house no matter the sports season. Take your pick between the arcade room, booths, or miniature stadium seating. The grub is sensational too. In the glorified setting, why not try their glorified burger. It has all the trimmings appropriate for watching a D.C. Nationals game: zesty BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, and fried straws. Just be sure to show your team spirit and rock your sports paraphernalia.
