Hard Rock Café

In a town known for revering its own underground idols – Chuck Brown and Fugazi spring to mind – the hulking excess of the Hard Rock seems a little out of place. You know the menu – it’s the same burger from D.C. to Delhi.  But droves of tourists are still turning out to pick out some new “Rock Couture” merchandise and gaze upon the biggest collection of rock relics to come to D.C. since Fleetwood Mac played the Clinton inauguration.
