Although it may be true that you can’t always judge a book by its cover, the exterior of the Havabite Eatery in downtown Fairfax is equally as charming as the atmosphere inside. Specializing in Greek-inspired cuisine, with a few classic Italian and American dishes thrown in, the eatery has been serving up gyros, souvlaki and other Mediterranean favorites since 1978, and they’re still going strong. Too busy to cook? Havabite is also available for carryout or catering.
