Forget the Holy Grail. Head over to Henry’s and achieve everlasting…piety. People from as far as California have heard of Henry’s “world famous” sweet potato pie and will make the small carryout on U Street a stop on their Washington voyage. If you want an actual meal before dessert, try the fried chicken wings with Henry’s spicy “mumbo” sauce or the pork chops smothered with onions and gravy. There are few plastic chairs out front, but plan on eating your food elsewhere.
