One of the more popular dining destinations in historic Occoquan is the locally owned Madigan’s Waterfront. As its name suggests, the restaurant is located right on the Occoquan River and specializes in seafood dishes, as well as steaks, pasta and poultry. Madigan's also has plenty of live oysters year round, with the local Chesapeake variety being a big draw in the fall. The restaurant's Sunday brunch is very popular as is their outdoor deck, which provides a fun spot for a large bar with TVs, daily happy hours, live music, entertainment and karaoke. It you're boating down the Occoquan, public boat docking and slip rentals are available.
