O'Donnells is one of those classic restaurants where all aspects of the experience have been honed by years of being in business. The interior decor is comfortable and stylish in a very New England way, with dark woods and white walls dominating throughout the dining room. As is beffitting a seafood restaurant, the walls are dotted with a variety of sea-faring pariphenalia, inluding a swordfish and ships wheel. (The bar is similarly understated and has a relaxed vibe.) As for the food, O'Donnell's offers a variety of seafood dishes, including a Maine lobster that the restaurant has been serving since the 1920's. Other signature items include lemon meringue pie and cheesecake, as well as the famous 'Rum Buns,' all of which are baked in-house daily. With its comfortable atmosphere and high quality food offerings, O'Donnell's is the perfect place for a quiet dinner, drink or business lunch.
