Rock Bottom Brewery

As you descend the steps into Rock Bottom, the open bar area to the right displays the taps of homemade beer being brewed just feet from the entrance. Rock Bottom features a large seating area with booths and tables able to accommodate any size party, and the upstairs has pool tables, couches and big screen TVs. About an even split between the bar and restaurant during happy hour, as the night progresses, the bar scene takes over with the table sections slowly closing down. Rock Bottom has great appetizers, though some of the menu items offer too wide a range. You’re better off keeping it simple when ordering food here. Monthly specials are available on the internet, and the beer selection often changes with seasonal brews substituted appropriately. The Bethesda version of this national chain is a fun place to grab a beer or have a meal.
