This serene space is situated in the Smithsonian’s Sculpture Garden right next to the Museum of Natural History and short distance from the impressive National Archives building across the street. Overlooking the fountains facing the National Gallery of Art, this indoor and outdoor café is a great place to take a break from touring the museums in a serene setting. A favorite among DC tourists and Capitol Hill workers, the café is a great place to enjoy the fountain, which is converted to an ice rink in the winter, and sculptures adorning the lawns. There is ample outdoor seating, and the menu features pizza, sandwiches, salads, paninis and desserts.
