----------------------
There are groups of people who like to go out and have a good time meeting new people and experiencing the unknown. Then there are the group of people who go to The Rookery, Foggy Bottom’s invite-only restaurant and bar. You become a member through submitted recommendations and blah blah blah. On occasion, they do open up to the general public for musical performances.
The food served there is typical American cuisine, which includes fish and meat dishes (all under $22.) Oh, and don't call them, they'll call you. They claim there's no phone there, only email.
