This place has the potential to draw students’ away from downtown College Park and up Route 1. The sports bar has 22 flat-panel, high definition TVs that are always turned on. If you want to watch a particular game just ask your server and they’ll set you up with your own TV to watch. Implied in the name, Varsity Grill is designed to attract the older college crowd. Beer specials aren’t as cheap as the downtown bars but the quality of food is way better. Like many other bars in College Park, Terps memorabilia is everywhere. Basically, the TVs will draw you in and the food will make you stay.
