Walk into Mai Tai and you’ll think you are at the hippest lounge in Bangkok. The bright red banquettes and sofas are off-set by the teak wood tables and stone Thai relief carvings on the wall. A large bar with orange accents means a cool place to wait for a table. While the atmosphere may be swanky, the service is extremely friendly and the prices are reasonable. Expect Thai favorites like Tom Yum Gai soup and Larb Gai at the prices you would expect from your local hole-in-the wall place.
