This small, galley-style ice cream and sweet shop is a favorite of GW students, likely because of its easily accessible location. The ice cream is Edie's brand and the baked goods appear pre-packaged. Not that there's anything wrong with that when you're young and looking for a sugar rush. However, in the past few years Cone E. has launched a campaign to simultaneously appeal to the health conscious, with several large, text-heavy posters guiding you to realize your body type and the appropriate corresponding protein shake. An interesting twist, but most patrons probably aren't coming for their health.
