Silva's Patisserie

Local boy and pastry chef Harry Sarkees, formerly of the Kennedy Center, named this Vienna bakery after his mother Silva, and together they create a stunning array of European-style pastries guaranteed to satiate even the most ardent sweet desires. Harry’s specialties are miniature, one-bite pastries such as chocolate Grand Marnier mini-tortes and green tea and pomegranate mousse petits fours, while his mother creates wonders in marzipan, along with elaborate reproductions of famous wedding dresses -– Jackie Kennedy’s, for example -- made entirely of sugar.
