Good food, good music, good service...!

It was my first visit on a first date with a very handsome suitor. The atmosphere (or should I say ambience) was very pleasant, clean and family friendly. The food was good and the music was even better (old skool). The bathroom (ladies) was clean and the waitresses were very attentive. I hear on the weekends the place is a "madhouse" but I went on a Monday evening for dinner and was impressed with my date's choice. There was a great selection of food and you can even order food "made to order" in the back. Unfortunately, I was too full to try the deserts but I definitely plan on going back and would definitely recommend this place for some good eating and good time. Just one thing...the booth seats were a little "wobbly" but as long as you sit back and sit still...you'll be okay. Take Care & God Bless....!

Never Again...
By progolgo, November 6, 2010

Two words that sum up my food adventure at Seafood palace? "Never Again." Seafood Palace simply flops on customer service, a feature as key to my dining experience as the fare itself. I literally found my Friday evening burning away as one waitress after the other whisked by oblivious to concerned customers beckoning glances, who simply went wanting for this service or that. I mean, I can secure a taxi in at rush-hour downtown New York City in a fraction of the time it takes to hail down a waitress at Seafood Palace. In the end, I voted with my feet...whisking my way by oblivious waitresses...

"Excuse Me?" "Hi"
By jayuworm, November 5, 2010

A friend recommeded this place to me so I checked it out. With a friend I was seated in the bar area at a table. There were no seats available at the barand for about ten minutes and during this time many waitresses walked by my table and no one acknowleded my friend and me. Finally a waitress walked toward me and I said, "Excuse me?" She replied "Hi" and briskly walked by me without a glance. How Rude! I left after that. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The food might be great but I will NEVER know because I refuse to pay my hard earned money and be treated this way.

The Best Yet In DC Area
By JamesEng, April 6, 2010

Overall rating:

I am a Chinese cook and frequent many Chinese restaurants and buffets. This restaurant buffet is one of the best, if not very best, in the DC, Virginia, Maryland area. For a buffet the seafood selection and quality is excellent. The sushi is also very good and is almost as good as a regular sushi restaurant. The desserts, both fresh fruit and sweets are also very good. It also has an ample selection of non-Chinese food. My only reservation is that the extra cost for dinner may not be worth it since I don't see many added attractions for dinner. For lunch, however, this place just can't be beat. (Frank E.)

Great Seafood Variety

Real food cook to excellence. No canned items on the steam tablle. From the clams to the Crabs I was impressed with the variety of dishes and the excellence and care used to cook it. Fine Family restaurant with decent prices.
