When Equinox Restaurant first opened in Washington nine years ago, it quickly became known as a hotspot for power lunches and intimate dinners, for which it still remains known for today. Located beside the Farragut West Metro station, they recently revamped the entire restaurant, gaining a huge dose of chic and sophistication, as well as a new menu. (Modern American regional cuisine based in classic French and Italian methods, using mostly seasonal ingredients... Think healthy comfort food with a twist.) The most popular item? The signature lump crab cake with grilled Rappahannock asparagus, napa cabbage slaw and a toasted cashew vinaigrette.
