- Price range: $$$$ ($26-$30)
Eventide Restaurant has been creating quite a stir in Clarendon. This hotspot boasts three floors for dining and drinking. The first floor comes complete with a handsome bar where cocktails and a bar menu are available. A big, open dining level is flanked by royal blue floor to ceiling curtains and a rooftop deck will open in warmer months to come.
Start off with an appetizer of cripsy veal sweetbreads or bison carpaccio. Move on to enticing dishes such as malbec braised lamb shank, lobster tagliatelle or grilled barramundi filet. Prices are very reasonable with entrees ranging from $22-$29 and an extensive wine list with bottles under $50. A lounge menu also has some tasty tidbits so feel free to share some fried oysters, soft pretzels or french fries with truffled fontina fondue. A delectable brunch is served Sundays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
