As the name implies, the vibe and clientele of Expo Restaurant & Nightclub depends entirely on the time of day at which you visit. By day, this spacious lounge in Shaw’s Little Ethiopia serves up international cuisine in a low-lit, relaxed atmosphere. When the kitchen closes and the tables are cleared, Expo transforms into a bustling nightclub with technofied international lounge music, flashy lighting, and a fully-stocked bar. The newly renovated two level lounge boasts some of D.C.'s best bar specials in addition to great music. The lunch and dinner menu seems to suffer from an ethnic identity crisis, offering house favorites of Eritian/Ethiopian, Italian, Greek and American dishes.
