This Ethiopian restaurant might be a bit of a dive but the big portions, informative wait staff and excellent French pastry shop next door definitely make up for the faux brick booths here. Feeding a decent-sized lunch time crowd, the main entrees at Dama consist of seasoned and sautéed cubes of beef or lamb placed on round platter lined with injera, a spongy, sour-flavored crepe that is torn apart and used to grab mouthfuls of meat and veggies. For a post-meal treat, walk next door and ask for the flaky and delicate mille feuille.
