Though its location a few blocks down from busy Washington Street may prevent some people from knowing about it, A la Lucia is a great restaurant that is worth checking out. Don’t let the tiny and unsuspecting entrance fool you, as this place does Southern Italian fare nicely and the ambience is quite nice. The restaurant has two main dining areas simply decorated with colorful art and classic black and white photographs, and they also have an adorably inviting and spacious wine bar where you can grab a drink while you wait for a table. For those who want a great pizza but would rather enjoy it at home, A la Lucia offers carryout for their brick oven pizzas all day.
