Since 1996, Chef Luigi Diotaiuti has been serving up traditional Italian meals on the ground floor of a converted row house. Luminaries as diverse as Hillary Clinton, George Clooney and Donald Rumsfeld have all dined here amidst the terra cotta tiles, bright murals and soothing yellow walls. The small menu (most of its food and wine imported from Italy) consists of such dishes as insalata misti della casa (which sounds much better than house salad) and risotto del giorno. There is a small bar and the wine list is 200 strong, all Italian choices naturally.
