Assaggi is a stylish new Italian restaurant in downtown Bethesda where fresh mozzarella is the featured entrée. The outside eating area is contemporary and popular with patrons, while inside there's an open area showcasing the cooking staff. The goal of the restaurant seems to be a romantic venue by the lighting scheme, but its an equally good spot for a night out with friends.
