Potenza combines old world Italian cuisine with fantastic European architecture and decor. The unique restaurant features high ceilings, bucolic chandeliers, and restored church pew seating to create a rustic ambiance. If the interior doesn’t impress, the enchanting outside garden patio is sure to win you over. From there you can enjoy the authentic Italian cuisine and beautiful view of the Washington Monument and other D.C. sites.
The food at Potenza is just as elegant with a menu of comforting and sharable dishes that emphasizes elegant Italian cheeses, freshly baked breads, an assortment of seafood, as well as signature pizzas (baked in their enormous 6,000 pound oven) and homemade pastas like a rabbit and truffle tortellini and spinach gnocchi. There's also tantalizing desserts and an impressive wine list of over 250 of Italy's best wines. You can enjoy a glass to complement your meal, or relax with at the 42-seat bar and lounge.
