Ristorante Bonaroti

Host and owner Sergio Domestici attended the Santa Margherita culinary school in Ligure, Italy and did time at a handful of DC area restaurants before settling in Vienna and opening his own establishment. Relaxed but nevertheless refined, the main dining room at Bonaroti offers an inviting setting for the classic Italian cuisine prepared in the authentic style of Sergio’s homeland. Private rooms are also available for events or parties.

If there’s ever been a time to not judge a book by its cover, it’s when you pull up to Ristorante Bonaroti. The outside is, at best, unimpressive and you’re greeted by many kitschy Italian decorations at the door. But both the service and the food – particularly the many daily and seasonal specials – are superb. Owner Sergio Domestici attended culinary school in Italy, and the lessons he learned are evident in the restaurant's delicious Northern Italian dishes.
