When you first enter Tomo Sushi, you're greeted with its sushi bar -- a telling sign they mean business here. The quaint restaurant is physically located on Wilson Boulevard, though its address is listed as N. Lynn Street. If you're looking for a sushi lunch buffet, visit between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday; however the food is weighed and paid by the pound. Tomo Sushi's signature dishes on the menu are the healthy specials -- the Rosslyn Roll (Avocado, cucumber, crab meat, brown rice with maeme nori) or other whimsically named rolls (Godzilla, Kamikaze, Rock N’ Roll). Pair it with Japanese beer, sake or plum wine and have Japanese Sweet Bean Red Jelly for dessert. Dine indoors in the small dining room or outside on the small patio area.
