This hole in the wall Lebanese joint is one of the Metro area’s best kept secrets. For starters, they do something to the rice that makes it inexplicably good. The standard kabob and shwarma fare is also great, but if you’re feeling adventurous try the Very Traditional platter, which comes with several hard-to-pronounce but delicious authentic specialties. The atmosphere is laid back and do-it-yourself (and sometimes mistaken for unfriendly service), so order at the counter, ask for the homemade garlic sauce and take your Tabbouleh to one of the outside tables if the weather cooperates. Lebnan is also a happenin’ hookah spot at night, so prepare for things to get a little smokey.
