Austin Grill

Although finding genuine Tex Mex is not always easy, Austin Grill does a decent job of serving up pretty authentic fare with prices a bit higher than most Mexican restaurants. Boldly colored walls adorned with license plates and road signs make for a bright and cheery atmosphere that’s a little cliché, but the reliably good service and margaritas make up for it. Though the small bar downstairs is typically crowded on weekend nights and may be less than ideal for people seated near it, the upstairs dining area is a bit quieter. At Austin Grill you’ll find standard Mexican fare like burritos, nachos, carne asada and fajitas, and they put a Mexican twist on basic plates like a grilled chicken and bacon sandwich with jack cheese and chipotle mayo. One interesting fact about this place is it runs on wind-power. How’s that for being eco-friendly?
