Azucar creates an exciting atmosphere while still providing simple elegance. Upon entering the restaurant, you will take notice of the beautiful white draped tables surrounded by colorful walls. The dining area is spacious and you have the choice of being seated or entering the bar on the left. Once seated, you are provided with warm chips and salsa, all homemade, and the civiche is also a great appetizer for starters. Salavadorian entrees are popular and a highly-recommended one to sample is the trucha frita a la Salvadorena (pan-fried trout). Azucar is also known for its tasty margaritas and cocktails, which come in handy when the live Latin band begins to play.
