The Dupont Circle location of this local chain is more spacious than the original Georgetown hole-in-the-wall, but it still serves up the same Iranian fare. Its signature dish, the kabob, is an Iranian comfort food that now comforts Washingtonians of all backgrounds. The owner of a well-known restaurant in Iran (that was near the American Embassy) chose the name because he liked the Melville book.
