The atmosphere and décor at Skewers says expensive, but don’t be fooled; the elegant setting at Café Luna’s sister restaurant belies the reasonable prices. Skewers offers the best of Middle Eastern, North African and Mediterranean cuisine. The French doors open on a small patio and inside, the dark-wood floor is nicely off-set by the orange walls and purple ceiling. Middle Eastern accents abound, from stuffed camels to punched-tin light fixtures and one expects belly dancers to appear at any time (and they do on Saturday nights). House specials include the kebabs (in the lamb, chicken, beef and eggplant varieties) and the Honey Almond salmon.
