Travel just a block up Wisconsin past East-West Highway and you will find Javan. Decorated in dark, earthy browns and blacks, Javan is a cozy place to sit and have conversation, though you may have to compete slightly with the sounds of the kitchen and the tables around you. The low lighting, however, almost allows each table to feel comfortably private. Serving Persian dishes, you will want to try their lamb or one of the combination platters.
