The Concept:
If you’ve ever found yourself waiting in line at Ben’s Chili Bowl at 1 A.M. on a Saturday, most likely while inebriated, you’ll probably appreciate the basic concept of Next Door. In addition to a fully-stocked bar, the restaurant serves up a selection of favorites from the Bowl – but that’s still only half of the venue’s appeal. Next Door is also an all-American gastropub, with a menu of sophisticated takes on home-cooked comfort food developed by “Hell’s Kitchen” winner Rahman “Rock” Harper.
