Nestled among some of the District’s most famous ethnic restaurants, this trendy, romantic pizzeria-café definitely stands out from its neighbors in Shaw’s Little Ethiopia. With menu options like Tortellini Florentine and Pizza Quattro Stagioni, La Carbonara offers affordable Italian specialties that Americans know and love with the look and feel of fine dining. Outside of its location, however, there isn’t much that sets La Carbonara apart from the scores of other Italian restaurants in the District.
