Local diners need not travel all the way to the Maryland shore to experience a taste of the classic seafood restaurant experience. Crisfield's has been serving up crab cakes, oyster sandwiches and baked stuffed shrimp since 1945. Patrons can eat their meals at the large circular lunch counter that inhabits Crisfield's front room, or instead choose to dine in its cozy back dining area, both of which offer a homey, unpretentious dining experience. The menu offers a range of appetizers, sandwiches and main courses as well as the traditional side dishes of baked potatoes, fries, cole slaw and apple sauce. The staff is friendly and down-to-earth and eager to suggest their favorite dishes.
