After leaving this place you'll smell like Old Bay seasoning for hours. There's no place to sit down and eat at Ernie’s. In fact, it’s more of a door stuck in between a Jiffy Lube and a liquor store than a crab house. You can order individual dishes, but most people come for a bushel of crabs or a couple pounds of shrimp. King crab legs and lobster tail are also available along with the local Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab. Although it’s not much in terms of a restaurant, there’s really no other place around to get true seafood like this. Stop by the liquor store for some beer, pick up a bushel of crabs and enjoy an old-fashioned crab feast.
