Shrimp and grits, meat and potatoes, chicken and rice, pork and beans—the small space that Crème Cafe and Lounge occupies packs a big flavorful punch with a simple and tasty menu of American comfort food. Drinks are innovative, made with fresh fruit rather than cordials and syrups. A slender but carefully considered wine list rounds it all out.
The interior is a mix of the chic and the industrial. Tea lights flicker on tables while you enjoy the daily specials of Chef Orlando Hitzig, (of Mark and Orlando’s fame). Arrive early for brunch on Saturday and Sunday to avoid the long lines. Sorry no reservations for brunch.
