Hard Times is a pleasant departure from typical College Park. The southwest theme and food even gets students to trek down route 1 to get there. Their cheap Wednesday wings definitely draw a crowd and the happy hours are well attended. While nothing on the menu is bad, the place is known for its chili. Try their signature “Chili Mac” and if you can’t decide which type of chili you want, just ask for a free sampler. Though the place is packed with loud, starving college students taking advantage of the big portions for small money, its worth the noise.
