El Golfo is a lovely establishment offering Latin and Tex-Mex cuisine. It is a large restaurant with a two-part dining room off set by archs and mirrors. The walls are lined with Mexican paintings and the tables are covered with white linen. The atmosphere is classy, but gives you a warm down-home feeling. Some of the delicious dishes include, tamales stuffed with shredded chicken or studded with corn kernels and chicken and beef soup made with rich broth and fresh vegetables. The seafood enchiladas offer plenty, with a cream sauce pink from cayenne and paprika and the fajitas are seved on a plate in a sizzle of steam. Yummy!
