A good barometer of a Thai restaurant is its pad thai. If they get that right, you know the rest of the menu has a decent shot. And the pad thai at Ghin Na Ree Thai is knock-your-socks-off good. The restaurant is an intimate space with super friendly staff. It opened in 1979 and has been run now by three generations of the same family. Ghin Na Ree Thai is is well-known for its generous portions and fantastic lunch specials that lets diners enjoy soup, iced tea, entrée and appetizer for less than 7 bucks. The restaurant also does a booming carry-out business, but those choosing to dine in will enjoy friendly service, the comfortably padded blue booths and Thai murals on the wall.
