Tucked at the end of a strip mall on Jermantown Road in Fairfax, the Lamplighter is a quiet neighborhood restaurant targeted towards the AARP crowd. With that said, the place has been around a while, meaning their European and traditional American cuisine must be really good. Not to mention, the prices are definitely affordable (only a handful of entrees are more than $20). The restaurant is available for private parties and events, so it’s sometimes closed during regular hours.
