It’s a throwback to another era at The Diner in Adams Morgan. Open 24 hours, they have a huge menu of Americana specialties like steak and eggs, hamburgers and classic sandwiches like the Monte Cristo and tuna melts. You can get breakfast all day, and they have some wonderful dessert options like hot fudge sundaes and banana splits. Taking traditional diner fare in a slightly different (and welcome) direction, they have a full bar as well. The $10 milkshake with two shots of Jim Beam blended with ice cream is worth a visit on its own.
