Hines Ward—Pittsburgh Steelers

Nicknamed "The Dalai Lama of Football," Ward plays wide receiver for the Steelers. Born to a Korean mother and an African-American father, Ward has used his position to help mixed-race children in South Korea. After returning to his birthplace of Seoul to talk to children about overcoming adversity and discrimination, he created the Hines Ward Helping Hands Foundation.
