The special thing about the early years of "Beverly Hills, 90210" is that privilege and extravagance are really only a fantasy in high school. Rich kids are a lot more common—and therefore a lot less interesting—once college rolls around, so the "90210" crew really started to lose their steam after leaving West Beverly. One good thing to come from the show's foray into college? Far less time with Jim and Cindy Walsh, the most annoying and useless parents in TV history.
